Jitsu-in(実印)
A registered personal seal. An official seal which has been registered with the ward, city, town, or village office.
All legal and official documents require that this officially registered seal be used.

An unofficial and unregistered personal seal.
It is a simple seal, with the family name engraved on the bottom.
